On Friday, June 6, 2025, at 5:30 p.m., in Lubrański Hall at Collegium Minus, Dr. Iain McGilchrist will deliver a lecture entitled: “Why Brain Asymmetry Matters to Our Civilisation and the Plight of the Humanities.”
Iain McGilchrist is a literary historian, psychiatrist, neuroscientist and philosopher, a Quondam fellow of All Souls College, Oxford, a former consultant psychiatrist at the Maudsley and Bethlem Hospitals, London, and a researcher at John Hopkins University and the Institute of Advanced Studies, Stellenbosch.
