Event description

Iain McGilchrist is a globally renowned scholar in the fields of neuroscience, psychiatry, and philosophy. He is the author of ’The Master and His Emissary: The Divided Brain and the Making of the Western World’ and ’The Matter with Things’, which has been described by Professor Charles Foster of Oxford University as ‘one of the most important books ever published’.

In this conversational webinar, he will explain his key findings around the different ’takes on reality’ of the two hemispheres of the brain, and explore the ways in which which Jung’s mental functions ‘fit’ with the neuroscience, and some overlaps between Jung’s approach and his own findings.  There will be time for questions.

Iain is a polymath who wears his deep learning lightly and explains important concepts with clarity and ease, and this will be a hugely engaging and thought-provoking event.

This event will be recorded.

The webinar is free for BAPT members – log in to your website account to register for the event and a 100% discount will be automatically applied at the check out. The event costs £20.50 for non members.

All are most warmly invited to attend
